Playing with Voice Recgonition software

I can't type as fast as I can think.  I can't even type without looking at the keyboard (though when I'm not thinking about it, I notice that I do type without looking).  Anyway, I was thinking that maybe some of my Writer's Block problem comes from the fact that I *know* what needs to be said, but taking out the time to type it is part of my issue.

Or, I'm just playing with a new way to procrastinate.  Whatever.  To-may-to, to-mah-to.

So, I was playing around with the voice recognition program that my computer came with.  I am amused, and I feel like I'm on Star Trek.

Anyway, I "typed" up my opening sequence for my next chapter using it.  For the life of it, it couldn't recognize "Horatio"  but, man, "Devereaux" it had absolutely no problem with.  That's right.  The french name with the unneeded extra letters ending in the letter "X" it spelled correctly.  I couldn't even get it to spell out "Horatio" because it kept recognizing the "a" as "8."

I told the program to stop listening to me and I spent a few minutes laughing.

That is all.  I just thought I would share (and I actually typed this post up; it was not dictated.)
