2012 Review-2013 Goals
When I looked at my 2012 goals today, I totally laughed. I failed at most of them with the exception of ONE.
2012
Stay on top of commenting.
Not really, no. I barely stayed on top of responding to comments on my own stuff *sigh*
Participate more in sim_spiration (so long as the prompts aren't too spoilery).
Unless you count Myshuno, I didn't write ANYTHING for Simspiration this year. To be honest, though, I often times forget that there are prompts because now they prompt weekly instead of daily. The prompts fall off my F-List way too fast and I forget that the community exists.
Complete Gen 5/6 plot (this is on here so I can have something to mark off on my list.)
I DID complete this! Then again, this was a freebie. I might as well have said, "Make a 'To-Do' List."
Finish Generation 7's plot.
Have Generation 8 introduced into the story.
Meet Generation 9 (this can be fairly realistic considering the plot I have sketched out for Generation 7).
I..I must have been on drugs when I wrote last year's goal list. That's the ONLY explanation I can come up with.
Keith just said to me (after I read him my 2012 goals) that they were only GOALS not REQUIREMENTS. Obviously he said that to make me feel better because he's a good husband.
Have more than 6 updates a year. For the love of God, finish this legacy before my 5 year legaversary!
So last year I thought that only updating six times in the year was a failure.
Oh man. 2011 Ang would be pretty pissed at the brand new 2013 Ang. I've updated a whopping THREE times last year. Now I could throw out the excuses of, "Death in the family" and "Miscarriage!" But...but...those two things happened before April. Two of my three updates came out around then, NOT TO MENTION I did a three chapter asylum during that time as well.
What the fuck happened? I have no idea. I really don't. 2012 slipped by me way too fast.
I did start the New Simville Prosperity Challenge and I have like 10 updates there. But that is all observation with no plot or staging. I can't really count that as a success for my Simming goals.
So this year I think I'm going to make some more realistic goals.
2013 Simming Goals
Update more than three times in the year.
No, really, seriously, I'm totally not kidding, Ang: stay on top of commenting. You look like an asshole.
Introduce Generation 7 and get Simon's plot underway. (Also known as the "Make a 'To-Do' List goal.")
Do one last rebuild. Hopefully it will carry me to the end of the legacy.
Meet Generation 8.
Finish the legacy before 2020. Our evil robot overlords probably won't like the Sims. You can do eeeetttt!
That's all I got. Now I have 3 more Myshuno prompts to type up before midnight. I should probably go do that *nods*
