As always your chapters are worth the wait! This was amazing!
The opening montage was perfect with Eden and Rhys obviously worried and constantly checking at the windows for Quinn to come home. My heart broke when the police showed up and everything fell apart. And then the funeral montage as well. You do such an amazing job of storytelling with pictures alone! I feel horrible for everyone. And poor Emily! Alexander definitely had it coming and I'm glad Rhys punched him. I'm a bit worried about how he is going to lash out next though.
Picking up the pieces was so hard for everyone. I'm glad that Erin at least had Puck to lean on when everything else fell apart. I wish he didn't have to carry the burden of knowing the reasons behind Quinn's death but now I am definitely curious about what Quinn's existence prevented and how he will be a hero.
OMFG! Rhys ACTUALLY SAID IT!!! That scene just blew me away. It was the only way for him and Eden to start to heal but I honestly did not see it coming. YAY SPENCER FOR BEING AWESOME AS ALWAYS! And YAY ANG for managing to get Rhys to a place where he could actually say "I love you"! I hope that next chapter they will be able to begin to move on and that a new grandbaby might actually help with that. :)
Brilliant job as always! Can't wait to see what happens next! (Lillian has been too quiet and I want to see how Zane is coping).
I'm really glad I was able to pull off those montages because, for those scenes in particular, words would have made less of an impact. Well, in my mind anyway.
Alexander totally needed to be punched *nods* Of course there WILL be repercussions.
Puck needed to have that knowledge more for closing up plot hole purposes than anything else. I needed to address the fact that Zane took away the Bone Phones and Fate can't do anything about Quinn's death so people can't say to me, "Well, can't Fate do anything?"
As for what Fate said about Quinn, she said, "Quinn did what he was born to do." The pieces to that puzzle will subtly become apparent in the next chapter.
I KNOW! That was the hardest scene for me to write and I've been going over every single detail about it with Marina for the last couple YEARS. I needed Rhys to be in such a state where he WOULD say it and I was so happy that Marina suggested that he would tell Eden that he loved her to help make everything better.
Next chapter won't have any grand babies yet, unfortunately. The next chapter will be dedicated to getting Zane caught up and advancing the next part of his arc. I hate starting a new chapter (Chapter Seven - Part 1) with old business (which is how it feels) but ending Chapter Six with Rhys saying "I love you" gave the chapter finale much more impact (I think).
