The Real World
Alot of you have called, written, etc, asking how life in the real world is. Right now, I am not too fond of it. This of course could be due to the fact that after just three days of work, I got sick over the weekend. I have a hella swollen and sore throat, which makes having to dictate at work extremely hard. Hell, forget talking, its hard just to swallow my own spit let alone eat or drink. I just got back from the doctor and its not Strep. But since I didn't have insurance yet, he didn't want to do a whole lot of tests that could cost me an arm and a leg. But he did throw in that it could be mono!! Awesome!! Just what I need when I start a new job. He gave me antibiotics, so I am just hoping/praying this clears up because 1) it would make being at work a lot easier 2) the girl i work with is about to give birth and I really don't want to make her sick and 3) if it gets bad enough that I can't work, too bad, i haven't earned any time off, so I would still have to go to work.
Sorry I am being whiny and grumpy. I hate hate hate being sick. And since it doesn't happen too often, when it does I turn into the littlest kid.
Once I feel better and less grumpy I will be sure to share how the new job and everything else is going.
