Revolved
Okay, everyone do yourself a favor and download this album. It is titled "Revolved" and it is a mash up album with The Beatles' "Revolver" as the basis. What is a mash up album you ask? I will explain. A mash up is when they take two or more songs and combine them together to form a new song. An example is the underground classic "Frontin' On Debra" which mashes Pharrel's "Frontin'" with Beck's "Debra." If you have never heard it seek it out and find it because it is great. With "Revolved" what we have is an entire album mashed up; every song on Revolver is mashed and the results are incredible. Some of the songs are made more spaced out, some are made bouncy, but all of it is pretty damn cool. Some of the songs use the Beatles music, some use the lyrics, most use both. The point is this: if you are a fan of the Beatles, mash ups, or something a little bit off the beaten path then check this out.
