So, yeah...friday night IMPACT!, my service learning community, went on a camping trip up to the Bershires. Do you know how cold it gets at night there? 40 degress. Do you know how cold 40 degrees is...8 degrees away from freezing that's how cold. I wore two shirts, a hoodie, jeans, and sweatpants to bed and I was still freezing...holler for top bunk by the window. We did some ridiculous things like "soul searching" and "defining the group". All in all it was absolutly ridiculous. But I made some good friends with the other kids who also thought the whole thing was absolutly ridiculous. Now the 5 or 6 of us can all sit around and hate IMPACT! together...maybe sit in Mary's room and listen to Rage Against the Machine ;) And maybe next week Totally Turned-on Tom, Nimpho Nora, and Long-Lasting Lauren may actually have fun...and AnaLua will tell everyone that she feels dirrty!
I won't lie...its pretty there:
