so theres this place called hair mates. its on st marks. u go in...theres like 20 japanese stylists...u take the book tell them what number u want from the japanese picture book and they do it. kinda like ordering chinese food but cooler. this weekend was amazing once again. kinda felt like it was cut short. BAO 111 is the best viet restaurant BY FAR in new york city. no restaurant compares. shopped on 34th. he needed flip flops. (haha) went to brooklyn for the 1st time ever---it was wierd. and it rained. but the crepes rocked.
CINDERELLA MAN doesnt deserve to be called "the best movie of the summer." cheesy movies dont effect me. deserved the 1 1/2 stars the NY POST gave it! hmm what else. chinatown was hawt. almost barfed in a chinese store that had jerky-style ducks hanging in the store with the bones still one it. i dont eat pork and beef for a reason and i think i realized why today. got some bootleg DVDs for like 4 bucks. gonna watch it with my roomies later.
so i dont know why but i feel both fulfilled and empty. a juxtaposition of the happenings this weekend. i miss a lot of things in fla, but yet i love a lot of things in new york. the un-knowing-ness blows me away. in both a good and a bad way. WHERE THE FAWK AM I GONNA END UP BY THE END OF THIS YEAR?? wanna go to a fortune teller but then again i dont wanna know. why do i have such mixed feelings??????
by the way look out for the MJ story on 20/20 and the elizabeth smart follow up story. thats what im working on right now.
