Christmas Haul + Glee
Well, now that my ficlets are done, back to the usual spammage. xD No, not really. I'm planning on a New Year's ficlet, as well. And this isn't really spammage... -.-
Not my entire haul, but the highlights.
-Protector of the Small by Tamora Pierce, entire quartet *GLEE* I'd actually read this entire series before, but it was read very disjointed and long ago. And TP is amazing. So I was giddy when I got these. And I've re-read them all. xD
-Trickster's Choice & Trickster's Queen, again with the TP I hadn't read Choice, and barely remembered Queen. But they were amazing. ^^ I've got them both read.
-BACH!! I've been grouching about us not having a Bach CD for years. But I never thought I'd get him for Xmas!! ^^ I'm a bit thick-headed like that. It's got four of his concertos on it. I've been listening to it non-stop. (We have Beethoven and Tchaivosky and Johann Strauss already... but I need my Bach. ^^)
-bookends. Sailing ship bookends. From the local antique store, which I didn't realize until I was told. They're really heavy and quite beautiful. I shall take piccies some day.
-TWO long-sleeve Jack Sparrow shirts Seriously. Two identical Jack Sparrow shirts. ^^ I'm keeping both.
-MACCUS!! xDD That's the hammerhead shark headed bosun, for those who don't know the names (like me). He sits on the stairwell or railing and frightens people. *hearts her random action figurines* My Remus Lupin haunts pool table pockets.
-an awesome zipup hoodie that makes me look like a barcode No, seriously.
But best of all... just recieved today, from my godparents. It was rather surprising - they don't normally manage it so close to Christmas! It's actually a culmination of birthday present and Christmas gift - the last time they managed to get me a gift on each day was.... oh God.... years ago. But they are now WAY UP on my "loves" list
The Wooden World: The Anatomy of the Georgian Navy by N A M Rodger *giant squee* I didn't even know they knew I wanted it!! But yesh.... I've been almost drooling over the poor thing.... but I am ecstatic. Which is odd, cause I don't normally go berserk over gifts. But still.... xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
