Haircuts, pending school, and who-knows-what
Tomorrow at 11:30am I'm getting a haircut. And I'm going short. As in SHORT. Like, super-short. Almost boy-cut short. And quite frankly, I'm nervous. I never thought I would be. My normal attitude to that 'omg its my hair' sobbing has been "erm... yeah... girly-girls." And my hair did use to be short. Like, SHORT. But now its about 10 inches long... at least, the ponytail is. I don't know how long all my hair is. So I'm nervous. *slaps face* I shouldn't be nervous. Its only hair. It grows back. It grows back, even if it looks horrible, it grows back... *rocking & nailbiting fit in chair* Metaphorically. I don't bite my nails.
School. Yippee. Starts the 6th of Sept. About 2 weeks. *eyeroll* I'm soooo excited. Can't wait to figure out how much I can get away with not doing. Although I am looking forward to Ancient History. And Canadian History. And Adv. English (now DP English, damn those IB students...). Maybe Canadian History will help me get my Possibilities-related ficlets written. In any case, I can definitely expect to be slowed down a lot on my posting. Hopefully though, that just means less spammy posts, like this one. I've worked out an organized goal-centric method (GASP!) to get my LJ and my writing organized, pre-School. It's actually working too. (BIGGER GASP).
I wonder how much poetry I'll write in Math class this year? *curious*
