Okay, missed my gig to travel for eclipse. Responsibilities, age, finances, all combined to fornicate any possibility and then.... and then Lord love a duck, I got over my "bad" self.
I throw myself out the backdoor, slammed on my tennis shoes, grabbed my trusty yard colander, pulled on my garage sale find, the perfect sized welder's mask, situated myself, realized I HAD to have my CAMERA/phone/device, in and out of house, yelling movemovemove to alert critters, considered window departure, but... argued with device about selfie/pics toggle, dealing with critters who were clearly disturbed, holding colander, using device, adjusting welder's mask and got eclipsed at a location south of total.
Amazing!!! I found out there is a nation of eclipse weepers whose hearts filled to overflowing and this forces excess water out of your eyes.
Please God, let me live every single day I am generously, freely given to the very best of my ability, which is considerable cos I didn't get made trash. Keep my goofy mouth shut if I think I need to whine, complain, or blame. Let me embrace life cos the not so fun is surely eclipsed by the really truly glorious mostly.
