I wrote a comment to this on potc100 but I think LJ swallowed it... :/ Anyway, the gist of it was that you've done remarkable job portraying Will's passion, and his work. I salute you.

You are too kind miz dd. I love Will's steadfast and amazing focus. He's a special man to love those so different from himself. He's also true blue and that's an endearing part of the pretty man. Thanks for the read and write.

Beauty and grace he valued, neglecting to measure what destruction might also be wrought from the swords he formed

Oh, I've never seen that explored before, and this was lovely. It truly was a beautiful sword, but it gathered so much tragedy after he gave it life. Brava ♥

So serious, our darlin' boy, so focused. Made me so sad to see it in the sand there at the end. It was a beautiful piece, it's easy to fall in love with such a lethal beauty.

Two years ago, I ran into a pawn shop and there was a sword and dagger matching combo--much more the pretty thing, ornamental tho nice steel and a fair heft. Bought them for my sister for her birthday. Her daughters went wild over them and my sister was tickled so that's what they received on their birthdays (mid-March). They now have five different weapons each, sheaths and according to Z, matching outfits. They are more anime than LOTR, but still, swords are an enjoyment in perfect tools.

How did I manage to overlooke it?

That's good piece. The last line is thrilling.
And 'my' Will's answer is "No".
