(no subject)
Not much has been going on. I've been trying to get all my studying and homework done so that I can go to sleep at night. I don't know what it is, but I'm getting more sleep than last semester, yet I am so much more tired. It's ridiculous. I just want to sleep all day. I'm not very motivated to go to Calculus, and it doesn't help that it's every morning at 8am. I'm going to work on motivating myself more though. I can do this.....I hope.
In Math 190 we deal with proofs. That's about it. We just work with various problems and try to prove them right. (In mathematics everything is wrong until proven right, whereas with all other subjects you're right until proven wrong). So we haven't had class this week because the professor went out of town. He left us with two problems and gave the choice of working one and then writing it up and turning it in on Tuesday. We've been meeting anyways to try and make it through the problem and I think I understand it. Granted, I didn't figure it out. Other people did, but I understand how they did it. At least I think I do anyways. I'm happy; now I just need to write it all fancy and precise so there's no confusion with how I proved it.
I haven't done a whole bunch today. Mainly classes. And a Book of Mormon quiz. I made a 92 :-( That would usually be a good thing, but there's only 13 questions on it and I missed one. I think I know which one it was, but still. I wish I had made a 100. Oh well, I'll do better next time.
Now, I'm in the library and I'm going to study for a little bit and then Nikki, Emilee, and I are going to look at housing info. There was a housing fair today with most of the different complexes there. We're still looking, but they're bound and determined to get separate rooms. Which is good because we'll all have our own space. I very much miss my own space. And Nikki gets headaches a lot, so she need a place where she can go where it's quiet. Hopefully we'll figure something out.
