Wedding Bells
I have a wedding gown!! Crazy! My mom and I went to David's Bridal today cuz they're having their whole $99 sale which means that all of their gowns are on sale so you will get at least something off of every dress. But I haven't at all looked at dresses before today and I wasn't really expecting to find anything. And I was all like "If I don't love it I'm not getting it" and I just really didn't expect to find anything today. I dunno, I just didn't. Well, we go in and it was INSANE! Seriously, so much chaos and so many people...We were both getting frustrated because we had made an appointment and yet there was no one there to help us. So when we did get someone to help we both were feeling really negative and like "whatever, let's just do this and be done". So we got shown around the store and then the sales person left us in the Oleg Cassini section and was like "choose 3 dresses to start with and try at least one from here". For thsoe of you who are not up on your wedding gown designers, Oleg Cassini is the couture designer for David's Bridal...he was Jaqueline Kennedy's designer...and I'm like "whatever, these are the expensive dresses" and then we totally find this beautiful dress and it's only $400...I know, that probably sounds like a lot to you, but believe me, that's nothing for a wedding gown...It had been marked down from $800 because it was a retired style. Plus it was on sale after that which again is completely amazing!! It was the first dress I picked out and tried on and it was fabulous! I love it! I tried on a whole bunch of other dresses, but I went back to that one. It's totally unlike what I thought I would get, but it's pretty perfect...although I'm pretty sure that it's totally changed everything that I want for my wedding. Oops. Oh well...it's all about the dress...who cares if my color isn't blue now, right?
