So it's an actual update on my life!
So Easter Weekend and I discover that my left upper wisdom tooth is beginning to chip and break down. (My two upper WT came down, while my lower two are buried under the gums still.) So I spent the following week trying to find a dentist that could extract them. Mind you I was slowly getting increasingly dizzy, and feeling sick, while doing all of this. Everywhere I called, I got the same answers, I'd have to wait until next month, then I would have to have a consultation then maybe they could extract it. Problem being that by now my left WT was with a sharp pointed edge cutting into my inner cheek. One night I found a form type thing you could comment in if you were trying to reach a dentist (Local). And I explained the situation about my tooth and how I would like to have one or both uppers extracted online. The next day I ended up at a oral surgeon's office and got a consultation and x-ray done. Which was over 200.00 dollars right there. That and told that he'd have to surgically remove all four of them. (Well we could do the upper two now...) But it was essentially 1000.00 for the first tooth (Counting the consultation.) And about 800.00 for the other tooth. Not to mention the fact that I had no desire to have any member of this house hold in charge of me while this was going on. No seriously, I do NOT EVER want my parents involved with any procedure that involves me being put under anything.
After that, the dentist office (Which is across the street from me actually.) Calls me the same day, saying that so long as the tooth has dropped down they could extract it. But they needed to see the X-Rays first just to be sure. Getting both wisdom teeth pulled would take about 400.00 dollars. So yeah, save me 600.00 dollars please! I went in the same week that I made the call, friday morning 9am and for the next hour I was in a chair. My right tooth was pretty simple. My left tooth was already breaking down and the root, while looking fused together in the x-ray, was actually more claw like. It was gripping my upper jaw bone or something and that was the reason it took the rest of the hour. I kept both wisdom tooth, and both were decaying, though the left one was already breaking down pretty gone. Think a square and realize that the upper left to the lower right was gone from breakage and such.
Hopped out of the chair, drove to kroger for some soft food stuffs, then went to work. (What? It was friday I needed my check I wasn't drugged up or anything!) And worked the rest of the day. Yes I went to work for the rest of the day. I was given a pain med prescription of course. Still haven't used it, the Allieve has been working fine for me. Took up to now a total of 6 pills most within the first two days. Sure I have the occasional pain on my left side, but it's not impossible and I can manage. Damn it I want SUSHI!...
Yep, just as the link suggests, the BBB is moving out of her parents place and moving into an apartment of her own! Fun fact: My parents don't know. Nope, I've not told my parents. I've gone apartment hunting, finally found myself a nice looking place, put down the security deposit and now slowly bringing stuff out. As in, slowly taking my personal effects and carrying them out to the car, then driving them to the storage unit until I'm ready to move out. Currently my cosplay stuff, my books, anime magazines, duel monster cards and comic books are out of my room. Someone I know is willing to sell me a bed, couch, ottomon, tv, and a few other things. So I'll be good to go once I get what matters most to me out of this room. From being restricted to one bedroom to having an apartment all to myself is a very nice thing!
Gods above, congratulation Yugioh 5d you went from being one of my favorite anime to a show that I have trouble remembering anything about.
Which raises the question of what to do about the fic I was setting UP to write about in that series but whatever.
I'm knitting a baby blanket for a friend and it's taken time away from actually writing. But that said, currently I'm working on Castlevania. And trying to figure out Shanoa's personality seeing that she's about to meet Estella and Charlotte.
