China bans plastic bags!

I got wind of this from

naturalliving.

China is banning the production and free distribution of plastic bags at grocery stores as of June. http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/01/china_plastic_bag_ban.php

I hope the trend will move this way. They are so wasteful.
