T~T I fried my motherboard on my laptop and I'm in the process of looking for another one. So... If anyone has a suggestion for a good laptop, please let me know. ><; I HAVE BEEN DOODLING A LOT. But my epson stylus is hooked up to my mom's new desktop and she REFUSES to let me scan anything onto her computer or go on deviantart for that matter. SO... As a result, I get on at school during my breaks >3
ANYWAY... It was my own stupid ass that fried the motherboard. When my charger went out in january, i bought a targus one that was 120 volts. But I needed a 90 volt one. SOO... After a month and a half, it finally baked the damn thing and now I have no computer to call my own. Luckily it didn't appear to affect my hard drive, so I luckily might have all my data. :3 The guy said he'd rip the hard drive for me for $50, which is REALLY cheap compared to work and staples :P
In the meantime, I'm looking at an HP at work that I like and two different Lenovos. Both have 4 gb ddr3 ram and nice sized hard drives. But one of them has an integrated graphics card >3 So I kind of want it. Like really bad ^^; I could just go for the HP DV7 at work... or the HP G60... But I haven't really decided yet. The DV4 that's on clearance is going to be the best deal EVAR... Cuz Seth said he'd give it to me for $550, plus I'd still get the rebate. Iunno... I can get a discount through the store and through lenovo... Can also get a discount with Dell and I think they said Apple... Through the university. *nodnod* Um... Yeah Iunno what to do tho.
In other news... >> I really don't like men right now. One of my friends just broke up with her long-time boyfriend - he was being an inflexible jerk and stuff - and now he's just being a complete ass. *sighs* I won't even talk to him. Even though I was technically friends with him first. I'm more with her on this. Because she's really naive and younger than us, so I can't expect her to know how to handle these things. And I'm pretty supportive of what she decided to do. *nodnod* So, there's that. And then there's my little problem down in florida who makes me feel like a huricane ready to just tear through the gulf coast... >> Which I have considered doing. But I think my parents would MURDER me if I suddenly up and drove down to florida for no reason at all. I think I'd probably turn around halfway through Georgia. Because it REALLY isn't the smartest idea I've ever had. But it's still been a focus for me - and a very hard to beat temptation on the road >>;
AGH! MUST FLEE TO CLASS!!
