I talked to Melony just now (good talking to ya again, miss ya), and I realized that I write some pretty sad entries once in a while. It's not that there is nothing good going on in my life, but I like to write that kind of stuff because it's those issues I like getting feedback on. To make a balance, this entry will include a good amount of great things going on in my life more recently.
First off, I finally got engaged!!!!! Yep, early this morning at the Eiffel Tower, Tom finally...wait a minute, OH! That's my "look-a-like", not me, oops (fooled u guys huh?).
Seriously now, my relationship with Josh has been fantastic. He is more prone to going out and doing more which is so nice. This job he has really boosted his confidence and I couldn't be happier for him. Today he decided he wanted to spoil me since things have been a little rough in the family. He bought me the newest POTO statue to add to my cabinet. I am completely updated now, and it looks awesome! I told him that this would be my b-day present from him, but then warned him that by next week i'd take that back, lol!
I got straight A's on my report card again this semester, and am once again on the President's List! I can't believe how well I'm doing in college. It's a nice improvement from the 3.6 I graduated with. My cousin told me that if I graduated college with a 3.6, she'll take me to Cancun! If anyone knows Maria, they know she's not the kind of person to say things like that and then take it back, so I gotta keep up my grades!
I've rekindled some old friendships that I have missed over the past few months. I've always been friends with these people, and since schools out, we've gotten closer. Marianne and I have hung out the most, but I've been able to see Anissa, hang with Lexi, talk to Megan, talk with Chrissy, and make plans with many more (Jeez I sound like a commercial, sorry).
Well, I don't want to keep rambling, and now I'm waiting for my sweetheart to come and get me after work. OH! Before I forget, next Saturday I'm going to Frankenmuth for this "Wizard of Oz" weekend. So if anyone is interested in going up for lunch and walking the town let me know (by the way Josh, let me know where to find that black and white version you've talked about, lol).
Take care everyone!
