Since it's Golden Week and we all (theoretically) have so much time on our hands, I thought I would post this as a mini-challenge for anyone whose friends lists I can haunt.
I've been getting some interesting spam again, making a change from the dull-as-ditchwater "call me", "thank you for your help"s etc. They must all be lifted from somewhere, but I couldn't help noticing that they all make really good fic prompts.
So here is your challenge should you choose to accept it (I will probably be having a go):
Write something of your choice based on one of these prompts. It can be any length, any fandom, original, poetry etc, and comment on this entry, either posting your writing here or linking me to somewhere I can find it.
The Prompts:
1) I got the feeling this was pretty much the way he might have looked in his youth, which-I remembered, with a little shock--had been spent on Earth.
He kept his eyes shut.
2) Spaceships that set off together always carried photographs of all the people of the expedition.
Or like a trivial 10 line program might appear in the mind of a seasoned professional with a simple format conversion to do.
3) The statue rising in the center would cast its shadow on the curved dial plane.
4) We gave ourselves out to be brothers-this made a touching impression.
5) Perhaps there's someone more intelligent than me on Mars, but I don't know about on Earth.
Help me make something wholesome and nutritious out of my spam!
