Bren's brain update
I am posting a letter I sent to my friends. I think it explains what is going on.

Hello my friends,
My dr. appointment was this morning for the spots in my head. It does not appear to be cancer. It does, very much, appear to be multiple sclerosis. I had a brain stem infection 18 years ago that was thought at first to be MS, then they changed their minds, and said was just a brain stem infection. It was weird, my vision went wacky, and I was off work for 6 weeks. I was wall eyed, and that was the strangest thing I think that has ever happened to me.
Larry remembered that this morning at the appointment, and the doctor said that would explain one of the spots that was old. The other spot is new. It also explains to me my forgetfulness , the inability to remember my children’s names (yes I do that) and the numbness and tingling I have had for a number of years in my hands and feet, along with a few other odds and ends. I just assumed that everyone had that.
I go back on the 17th, first have another MRI,a spinal tap, and then see this doctor again. I think he is going to hand me off to another neurologist, since this doctor is the professor here at UC, and treats primarily brain tumors, and brain cancer.
18 years ago, when I was told I might have MS, I remember being devastated. Today, I am relieved, and grateful to God. Funny how our perspective changes…. (smile)
If this is what I do have, then it is mild, and I must have had a flair up that caused the other spot in my brain.
Still don't know what causes the headaches, I think it is the arimidex. I also think that God had his had in this, or we might not have found the MS. Explains a lot of things, it really does.
Well, gotta go do laundry, and some other things. Hugs to all of you.
