Had a wonderful few days now! Me and shannon dropped destiny and skip off at kimberly's yesterday. Then today we took jackie and lena to their new home and picked up our new broodmare Tessa.. She's a brown/black ( I seriously think she is black) qh mare that dates back to doc bar being her great grandfather and doc's description being her grandfather. She had started training for reining but was not finished, so she still does ride, and apparently she stlide stops nicely! She is going to foal a baby next month out of jd shiner jack ( I think? Will have to check), son of shining spark, a million dollar reining sire who's stud fee is 10,000. JD shiner has earned over 10,000 in reining with limited showing so far alone! So I'm seriously looking forward to this. She has a big puncture wound to her back hip but we cannot do anything for that until after she foals.. grr.. at least it's not infected and doesnt cause her pain at all anymore! But she's beautiful and I'm so proud to own her at this point.. she's the best looking horse I own and probably have EVER owned.. and we LOVE her.. oh by the way her registered name is Top Bars Hunny Bun
