oooh, i want! i'm having so many struggles with mine and what he will eat. it's not that he won't try new things, it's that he pushes them away after a couple of bites. there's also the i don't want to chew factor, swallowing things whole factor, and the i want to feed myself factor as well to consider.
for jakob, if it has potatoes(any kind), bread, rice, or crackers, he'll eat it (no pasta except spaghetti with mommy's spaghetti sauce). cucumbers, yogurt, pudding are also good. if it's a pre-packaged dinner kind of thing, he won't touch it. he wants homemade food. though he will eat toasted waffles and eggo french toast. notice i have not mentioned meat in there? yeah, that's about how it is, too. most beans are okay (noted exception is cannellinni).
and then there's the exception to every other rule. chicken nuggets, mcdonald's or pre-packaged, he'll eat em. i don't get it.
these days i've been planning my cooking on trying to tempt him to eat. it's a good way to work on the cooking skills. :)
anyway, i babbled but really, i *want* that book, gotta remember this one...
