(no subject)
i have made it past the 9 week mark. that is 1/4 of my first year of teaching done and under my belt. the teaching part, still easy, the show part.... it's starting to get to me. my first full length show ever, my first show with high school kids (thanks to my great mentor teacher), brand new principal and a show the other theatre teacher wrote. i am starting to feel the pressure. one week. five rehearsals. one before tech. maybe i have high standards, but i just really want this to be good and right now i don't even know what word to use. i dont know what to do, and not that anyone can fire me for not having a great show, i just would feel horrible messing this one, my first show, the show the other teacher wrote. can we say wings?
