Cellphone pornography
I went in to buy a cell phone today and I'm still reeling from the features on this thing. The last one I bought was a razr about a year and a half ago. I thought that thing was set up. This monstrosity sitting in my pocket has more memory than my laptop (granted, it's an older one). In fact, with its internet access, music and pda features I'm debating whether or not I need a computer. Just about the only thing it doesn't have is a word processing program. As it is I'm posting this message from the phone (the screen slides up to reveal a keyboard). It's obscene.
I'm half worried about keeping it in my pocket. I figure either it has a battery life of 30 seconds or it'll put off enough em waves to fry my gonads. Or at least give me a respectable carcinoma.
Post script - I've found a word processing program on my phone. As well as excel and powerpoint. I think it's time to bang my head against a wall. Maybe I'm too old?
