2010 Resolutions so far:

1. Change my life: My resume is almost complete. That is my first stage. I am hoping to move and change jobs. Now is the time, afterall. I have some ideas, but I don't want to discuss them just yet. I have at least another month until my next stage.

2. Learn to cook: I have made rice in a rice cooker successfully a few times. I have made a few dishes myself, but to be honest...I'm a bit scared. Food is important to me, I don't want to ruin it. Anyone want to donate some olive oil? That's one of my favorite ingredients. Don't ask me why.

3. Improve my health: I have seen a doctor. She wasn't too harsh, I appreciated that. My blood pressure, glucose and pulse are normal. My BMI is not. It is as high as it can go without changing my overall health. For now, my doctor has recommended Vitamin D (because I live in Oregon) and a pedometer (to encourage me to walk more.) I'll let you know how it goes. Resolution 2 should help.

I also want to help people somehow. I donate money to Compassion International from time to time, but that is not enough. I'm not sure what I want to do, but working in banking has changed me. I can see it now. I am angry and materialistic. I do not know if it is the nature of the business or if it is our specific working conditions, but whatever it is, I am done. It is time for me to improve myself. Again, I will keep you posted.
