Stonehenge Apocalypse

Um... I didn't not like it? Does that make m a bad person (besides the grammar thing)?

Pros:

+ Torri
+ Torri's hair
+ The plot was kinda interesting and logical - in a totally illogical SciFi kind of way.
+ Torri in a suit
+ CGI wasn't terrible

Cons:

- Torri wasn't in every scene.
- The mole's capri shorts. Seriously. WTH was he wearing?
- Overacting (I'm looking at you, Hill Harper and Misha Pretty!boy)
- Torri getting winged was an LOL moment instead of an OH NO! moment
- No Joe
- Continuity (of the time/space continuum variety in particular)

I could see it being some big blockbuster film with some major tweaks to the script (although, who are we kidding, most of those big blockbusters have HORRIBLE scripts *cough*Avatar*cough*). It just... didn't work. Like, maybe I wouldn't have thought the acting was overdone if there was more backing it up. If there was that music that makes you swell when it does, actual Foley work that seemed like they put more than 10 minutes into it - if I could have stayed in the world of the movie instead of looking at it from the outside the entire time. Higher stakes, somehow. Though I don't know how you could get stakes any higher than an apocalypse.

Bigger budget, I guess.

But I've gotta say, and I appear to be the only one - Torri's accent didn't bother me. Was it Welsh or something? I may be crazy, but I remember her talking about her family being from Wales? I guess I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say they are and she (and the director) know better than I do what her accent should be. They wouldn't have let that go if it was supposed to be British. There may not be a dialect coach on set but there are people with ears. Anyway, whatever it was, it was consistent and I stopped noticing it pretty early on.
