Yesterday: Exams and Stupid Bookstore

Jun 08, 2006 13:53

Well, yesterday was my last day of school and I had my last two exams (English and French). English was okay...nothing special. But during my half hour break, though, I was studying really hard for French (especially condregation).  I actually made cheat cards for everyone to help me study. When I got in there, Nettie asked me to sit in front of her. I don't know how she expected me to help her cheat, since I was right in front of Mr.Gueye's desk but whatever. Mr.Gueye walked in and Sam joked and overexaggerated some shaking, pretending he was really nervous. But, not even 4 seconds after he said that, my hands started to shake. Sam said "Hey, don't be nervous. You know all of this French stuff" and Nettie added that I shouldn't stress out. I told them I wasn't stressing out, that it was just nerves. Cearea joked about how this was just a tiny stress out and I agreed. Everyone was like "What's a big stressout?" I started to describe how I would cry my eyes out but Mr.Gueye told us to be quiet. Me and Sam kind of looked at each other and giggled. I think I did pretty good on that exam though. I'm almost positive I got the condregation right, even though he through in a different "er" verb instead of chanter.

I'm so mad at the bookstore, though. I returned a couple of my books and the book lady told me that I still had my French book (which I knew) and GILGAMESH out! Now, I turned in Gilgamesh in at least after Christmas break. She made me look in the back room for it and it wasn't there. Now, I heard that pretty much everyone in Ms.Weymouth's room's books just disappeared as well. Many of them turned them in to Ms.Weymouth and she never gave them back to the store, so the students are getting billed until she brings them back. This is such bullsh*t! I did pay the 7.00 for the book, though and I brought my French book back. Grrrr...
