i have no one to keep me company. everyone is gone today, except the secretary, who i don't really like. all i've done is answer the phone and a whole lot of googling and browsing for shoes online.
now that the weather is cooler, i've been taking walks into
tribeca during my lunch hour and decided i want to live there, should i ever become a millionaire, the buildings are just so beautiful. its nice to stroll through a residental neighorhood and get away from the 9-5 working world for an hour. one day i am going to play tourist and go around taking pictures of all the pretty buildings. i wouldn't mind living in
this one.
i found out there is walk tour of tribeca lofts next weekend and was so ready to sign up until i found out it was $50! so that's not happening.
earlier this week coming back from my city employee health physical i discovered the most beautiful subway station ever, in tribeca, on franklin street one the 1 line.
look how pretty this floor is! i first thought that it was dirted gum on the floor but then i realized it was the design of the tile. the entire station is painted and tiled in a
pale pink/rose trim. And - there is an art installation in the station.
this is what's currently on display. anyway, its quite beautiful.
almost time to go home :)
