today, i'm fifty - the word feels foreign in my mouth, and i don't feel like i'm old. weird, very weird. so far, it's a pretty good day. my dearest travel companion sang to me this morning, and it was grand. i listened to a song on a cd she made called "100 years" and downloaded the lyrics this morning when i got to work. cool lyrics. this will be my birthday song today. thank you, pirate .
