I can´t believe it but ii went to a nightclub by myself last night. I´ve never even gone to a bar by myself. It was a lot easier than I expected.
I was supposed to meet this guy that I had met on the cruise earlier that day, but couldn´t get a hold of him so I went down there anyway and happened to meet these four drop dead gorgeous Indian and Persian girls from the UK. They were so sweet and let me tag along with them all night. The club was huge, and amazingly enough a little boring. Bad top 40´s music and the people reminded me of the US just more of them.
After an hour or so I spotted the guy who I was supposed to meet there and I could only laugh because he was with some hoochie who was really gross. He didn´t look like he was having a great time, in fact he looked a little embarrassed, but I thought it was funny because I came there for him. haha.
I did meet a very handsome man from Barcelona and I was really proud of myself for going up to him and asking him to dance.
I made my way home at about 5:30 and got home safe. I was only hassled by a few taxi drivers and some guys in a car, but I felt so good about being out alone that it didn´t really bother me. I hope that I wasn´t just lucky but even if I was, it was exhilerating.
Tonight we´re going to go to the Coco Bongo, hopefully better music.
