ringing in the new year with my new friend.... THE FLU...he decided to show up at 5 am and he's already started his new years bash in my internal organs... woooo.. partay!....
So yesterday was fun... I went to the spa with Emily.. facials are a wonderful thing.. and i "learned" how to put on make up... it was more a reveiw from all my years of growing up with a Mary Kay consultant for a mother.. but it was still fun.. the lady who did my makeup had hers tatooed to her face... I couldn't tell by looking at her but she told me..... I'm still trying to figure out why one would want to do such a thing...... especially eyeliner... yes..allow me to stick this needle in your eye..eeesh
Dino's Gyros is the most wonderful food... place..... ever..........
After the spa my grandfather arrived. I chilled around the house for a couple hours untill Josh showed up... planning to only stay for a couple of minutes to meet my grandpa...... he ended up eating dinner with us.... weird how that always seems to happen.... my grandpa loved him of course... wasn't worried about that.. and my mother continued raving about him after he left...
Then I practiced my oboe... though I think the sickness was starting to set in then becuase my reed was being semi uncooperative.. and I smashed it.... just got really mad and snapped it... fortunately, it wasn't a very good reed... but it still worked.. so then I got more pissed and cried... yeah.... should have known Mr. Flu was messing with my pshychie.. oh well... it happens...
so yeah... if anyone happens to get bored today and feels like talking to a sick friend.. give me a ring... I'll be here all day...........
