Upcoming trips
Since I'm going stir crazy every day waiting for something to happen at work, let me just remind myself of the trips I've scheduled for the upcoming months:
Nov. 25 - Dec. 1st - Amsterdam, Netherlands. I'll be staying at the Amsterdam hotel, right in Dam square near Rembrandtsplein, coffeeshops, nightclubs, etc. Will be looking at the housing market, at commercial space pricing and other general legalities needed for my future business. If the house sale and move goes as planned I will be opening my own Dutch ice cream gallery in March 2003.
Jan 4 - Jan 8th - Las Vegas, Nevada. I'll be staying at Treasure Island and attending Internext-Expo, the adult webmaster trade show. It's worth running 8 porn domains just so I can have a week every year of absolute sensory overload.
March 2003 - Tarrytown, New York. Three day ice cream making seminar with Malcolm Stogo. Pasteurizing process, mixing, batch freezing, packing and just about every gelato-related skill will be discussed.
Spring 2003 - pack the family and move to Amsterdam. A five year stay in Boston is ending, I've seen good times and bad times and now we're moving on. My mom says we are just like gypsies, never rooted anywhere and never quite content. But these changes are the only things that stick in my mind later on.
I've not yet decided when to give notice here and I am sure it will be a very surprising news for everyone. I suppose I'll stay long enough and do as little as possible.
