The main city of New Orleans is built on a hill or mound. Wayy back in the industrial revolution the machines came. Look at the swamp around the city. Our machines can pump all the water out and build a levee. That's better, right ?
Those swamps were the crap filter for all the water going down the Mississippi.
Look, that land has been dry for years. I'm to sleepy to walk all the way home tonight. I'll build a shack out there.
