so herte i am back in uni. reading abstracts with such wonderfull titles as "MINING TERMINOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE IN LARGE BIOMEDICAL CORPORA ..." and " A LINGUISTIC STUDY OF THE MAGIC IN DISNEY LYRICS". so far i am struggling to correlate what i know form my history training and what is being thrown at me as far as i can tell the main form of lingustic study at the moment can be likened to attempting to crack a constantly eveolving code of almost infinfite complexity based on finite signs. but enough with college i have found a nice dojo and am training in aikido with a good sensei. the drama group hasnt so much welcomed me into there midst as adopted me encouraging me to run a series of workshops on a varity of subjects, ali be warned i might try to get you and lorna a ticket over to give a talk on succesful fringe comedy writing.
besides that i have to get my notes into there correct order. i also had to sit a computerised pre dyslexia test three hours of mind games, but christ didn't i feel knackerd after. now i have to wait on the specific results as they stand i also have to look at how the test was administerd i might be able to ably some of the technigues to stuff i want to do in my disertation.
dear god i really am a grad student its saturday and i am siting in on a beautiful day updating my journal and collecting socio linguistic articles that arent even on my essential reading lists. but anyway time to get back to the magic of disney lyrics
