My previous boss once walked into the office while I was alone and jamming to some music at my desk. It was something upbeat but worship-oriented, definitely not "rock" or anything. And he just paused and looked at me and grinned and said "Audrey you're such a rocker." I looked back at my computer, grinning, and chuckled. In my mind, I said "YOU HAVE NO IDEA."
Check out my latest love:
http://www.skillet.com/home You have to have volume on, but not too loud or you'll be blasted out of your seat. The intro plays one of their songs that I'm totally digging right now: Rebirthing. I'm also digging their latest single from the same album: The Last Night. I dug Skillet beginning with their first album. I just really like some of their stuff. They rock so hard! Ahhh! I feel like a 13 year old at a NKOTB concert! I'm gonna pull out my hair! I love them!
If only my boss knew what I listen to for fun. Ha ha ha ha....
In PG updates, I am about 14 weeks I think. I'm not really paying attention. By the 3rd one, I feel like yeah, I've done this all before. As long as I'm feeling semi-yucky and generally pretty sleepy, then things are fine. Just keep living a day at a time until my next appointment. Allergies have been rough on me though. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant that they are exacerbated, or because we are now living in Vancouver with sixty eleven thousand types of flowering shrubs, but it's a little on the miserable side. And they cause me these horrible migraine-ish headaches that just wipe me out. And I can only take Tylenol, which helps about 0%. I will ask about other allergy medicines I could try at my next dr's appt. Not sure if there are restrictions on some during pregnancy. All I know is that Benadryl and Claritin work about 0% too.
Okay time to go. I b tired. Just had to share cool new music that I love.
