midterm madness....

Mar 04, 2003 20:19

just got back from the B&N. Five hours there, writing my Eur II paper. halfway done with it. I feel like im repeating myself, didn't write the paper like a paper but just wrote random ideas that popped up. Reason=progress. Enough already. But now I have to play put everything in its place, and write the second part of it. Industrial revolution. Lovely.

Never again will i shave my nether regions while on the rag. Irritation? ye-ha. Just thought i'd share.

Schedule of events:
Wednesday- finish up Eur II paper/go to B&N for coffee and catch Patrick's eye with my velour sweatsuit-ness/Wawa for cigarettes/get to RU in time right after my Eur II class to hand in my paper to my prof during office hours/play consolidation of Nature of Politics from the beginning of the semester- Machiavelli/Friedman/Marx/Social Democrats/Socialists with meg/sleep.

Thursday-work @ 7/chat up Chris cos i haven't seen the fucker in a while/sucessfully have cigarette/lunch break w/ Patrick/invite him over to house on friday-reiterate Lynn's invitation/go home/read Clendinnen/notes on Clendinnen/pay parking ticket (i hate princeton*)/read sociology/call jen to remind her we have an exam on Monday/sleep

Friday-go to class/go to B&N/pick up check/bank it/read Clendinnen/clean basement/read Western History/attempt Politics paper/have people over/drink beer/play pool/see Steph/oggle Patrick (if he comes)/chat/sleep.

Saturday-study soc/study western history w/ age of expansion notes/read Clendinnen/perhaps start Clendinnen paper/ work/read/sleep

Sunday-work/read/laundry/sleep

surprisingly I am pretty mellowed out right now. Despite the fact I have a million things due next week. Reewards- spring break. See Steph. Die a little. Realization of bigger theories regarding reason and progress. Reason=progress.

*note: went to Panera Bread in Princeton before B&N today. No where to park w/o meters, unless i walk a mile and a half back onto Nassau street. Panera bread=good. Free coffee refilles. Fucking Princeton kids- not university kids. Sat all around me. Talked about every fucking capital in the world. Despite popular thought, people who live in Princeton (aka not attending Princeton University) are a bunch of ill mannered, pretentious, dumb FUCKS. of course, I could be just making example from the people i've experienced....but i really don't care so I'm going to clump them up in that category anyway.
side note- on saturday some dude (probably from Princeton, cos thats where our customer base is from, and my B&N is in Princeton) took a shit in a urinal and pissed all over the floor because he got mad at a bookseller at work. WTF. Is your temperment so bad that you will go to the great lengths of sticking your ass into a urinal and taking a dump because you got mad at some dude who works at a bookstore??

To reiterate- princeton people are pretentious fucks.

another side story that has some realtion to the last but not really just only that it's a B&N-

me and meg went to the b&N in south brunswick to study on monday, cos it's close to RU and I had to bring her back afterwards. Im so happy i didn't decide to work there. It's like entering a black hole. All the women have boy -cuts, its way to quiet, no one talks to each other (regarding the people that work there), and they are somewhat mean. Pretentious. Argh. I felt the life sucked out of me. No asking me if i had Readers Advantage (even though i'm an employee and I get my discount) and no help what so ever in helping me to find a book and place it in my hands/offering to order it. Argh. Argh! I love my B&N. In fact, I think i love it way too much.
