A fun evening
Tonight was the Blue and Gold banquet for our Cub Scouts, and it was a pretty fun night. The speeches started to get a little boring, but my dad was there, so my sister, Bill and I were giggling like crazy people. Then they did the raffle, and the first basket given out was won by Alex! He was shocke to say the least, but his face lit up like it was Christmas, especially when he found out that it was a baking kit. He got a cake pan, 2 cake mixes, 2 things of frosting, a big measuring cup, blueberry muffin mix, muffin wrappers, a bisquet mix, a corn muffin mix, an oven mitt, a pot holder, a towel, and a recipe/to do/shopping list thing. Oh, and mixing spoons and a spatula with a red top! Oh he was pleased. More stuff to bake with mommy. :) Then I won a basket! I never win raffle baskets, and it was the one I said I wanted coming in the door! It is a pampering basket, with terry cloth slippers, foot scrub and lotion, a foot massage pad, 2 loofas, and these cute little soaps that are shaped like rose petals, and a gardenia scented candle.
When the raffle was over, Jake went up with the Tigers, and got all of his Tiger stuff, then Alex went up and got his Wolf stuff. At the end of the night, they got a bag with their next book in it and Alex screamed "My Bear book! This is the happiest night of my whole life!" ROTFLMAO! :D
Well, I better get some sleep.
When the raffle was over, Jake went up with the Tigers, and got all of his Tiger stuff, then Alex went up and got his Wolf stuff. At the end of the night, they got a bag with their next book in it and Alex screamed "My Bear book! This is the happiest night of my whole life!" ROTFLMAO! :D
Well, I better get some sleep.
