ugh school!
ok so im in the nursing program, BUT they messed up my start date which puts me ATLEAST a semester behind where i should be. it was not my fault, i did what i was supposed to do, i took my transcript from high school down to the guy about my scholarship, he told me he would then take it to admissions for me, so i was through. i didnt think this was wierd, why would i? now he apparently didnt do like he told me he would, and they thought they didnt have my SAT scores but they were on my transcript, so i called a month ago asking why i hadnt been sent a letter for orientation, and found all this shit out. so my mom and i talked to this woman and she was like yeah we'll change it if it was our fault. PROBLEM IS that they dont think it is their fault, cause usually a student would have to take their stuff to admissions themselves, AND this guy who told me he would do it doesnt work there anymore. if he had told me to do it myself i so would have done it, its just a few buildings away, not that big of a deal, id been there enought that week anyway!! so my mom has been calling these people trying to straighten this all out, and they are all well she should have done it, usually the student takes it down, she even tracked down the guy and OF COURSE he doesnt remember, it was during late registration and there were hundreds of people there to see him. so today my mom said that she couldnt be the primary person to talk to them anymore and i would need to do it, we dont know if anything is gonna change, but it should its not my fault that i trusted a person in authority, isnt that why they are in authority? so i just called the V.P. of something up at the college and talked with her secretary or something, and she is supposed to call me back, its a big mess, but hopefully we can get it worked out, cause otherwise i will be doing nothing for like a year and a half except taking classes part time and not having health insurance! not good. ok so i vented.
but today is a beautiful day, i spent the day after school with jeannette, we went to subway and then looked up campsites to go to during the summer, its gonna be so much fun. then we picked up cella and i came home. i have to go to work soon and i need to finish up a take home math test (fun stuff...NOT) and this weekend i am watching 2 kids for their mom while she goes down to florida where her husband is stationed for their anniversary. so money for me and im gonna get an ipod mini YAY! also my grandparents are coming for a few days, i wish they could stay longer but ohwell, and i have to finish a project and present it next monday or wednesday.
