D:! A post, from me? *world implodes upon itself* Iono, felt like posting. XD;; I'm always so dead on lj, when all the cool cosplay peeps are hanging out here, lawls.
Oh man, 2 weeks ish left until Otakon, and I am spazzing about my cosplays. D': I was going to attempt to make both Link and Kyle(Suikoden V) for Ota, but I've dropped Link now cause I'm being too OCD about it =__=;;;; I'd never get anything done at that rate, so.... It's just been that I've been waiting to cosplay Link for quite some time nao D': and I really want it to come out nice. so I think it best I work on it as slow or as fast as I want to instead of rushing it. ;w; so my large cosplay is Kyle now. D': darn you Kyle and your armor! *shake fist* But yus, must apologize to Elise. D': I will be Kyle instead of Link now for the skit.
In other news, BookOff. D': I've been working there for a good 6 months or so, but now that I'm gonna go to UCSD I'll be quitting... =w=~ there were fun parts to that job, yes, but there were alot of trying parts too. D': Kids. ARGH. Just leaving books scattered all over the children's section. I don't know how many times I've just had to stop what I was doing and stuff oddly shaped books back onto the shelves in the same day. =_=;;; I can understand kids' attention spans, but you think the parents would have the courtesy of cleaning up after their own children. D': ...this is quickly turning ranty, oops >_>a but yes. After Otakon it's goodbye to endless book stacking and horrifically cheesy romance novels, ha ha... Harlequin romance novels, oh god. I have to both cringe and laugh looking at the cover arts/the descriptions on the back. Who reads them...?? D': I like sap, but some of these novels are just.... wow. XD; But I've also found awesome Japanese stuff you wouldn't find normally. XD;; like we have so much manga, it's dizzying. D': And Japanese PS2 games :D I bought Eco in Japanese, just for the heck of it XD *shot* And art books and such, although... unfortunately half that section is littered with hentai. x__X;;; *makes her other co-workers put away books there, swt* And DVDs too. We have a machine that cleans the scratches off of DVDs, which is awesome, but it's also very unreliable. >_O;; it beeps at us a lot that something needs to be changed or even for no reason at all. e_e;; and recently it broke or something so the shelves where we put DVDs bought off of people is overflowing with scratched DVDs needing cleaning. *swt* But yeah... fun times. D': I was able to practice alot of Japanese, working there, which is nice. I feel slightly more confident in holding a normal conversation in Japan now. XD;;
Wow, such random rambling. XD;; Sorry about that. At least I live. D': but who knows how long that'll keep up. XD;; I guess I'll see peeps at Otakon. :3~ <3
