It is said that the Devil has all the best tunes.

I find it incredibly frustrating, while reading Dante's Inferno, that I keep expecting Crowley to wander over from the City of Dis or some other place and begin telling me about how Hell has all the best musicians, really, and that these tortures are a bit of a joke to the demons, because they're so phenomenally creative, and isn't that Dante fellow such a hoot? I don't think this will ever happen, but I guess you can never contain wishful thinking.

On a different note, I've currently lost the ability to speak. I'm at that point where you're beginning/ending/in the midst of a cold, and I suppose this one decided to really give me a good kick before it left. So yesterday I was completely content eating half a bag of cough drops (and feeling a bit nauseous afterwards) and avoiding work in any of its forms. It was, however, Father's Day, and my mother got angry when I didn't say something to my father about it, but it was mostly because I couldn't speak. She forgets these things, though, so I motioned to her with some rather odd hand signals. It worked out alright in the end, I suppose.

Connie is in Pennsylvania visiting relatives, which is terrible, and she should just drive back here. Not that there's much to really do here, but we would at least have fun while doing it. I'm also incredibly worried that I'll miss the last two episodes of Doctor Who while I'm in Vermont (and later Tennessee to visit a certain Heather) which makes me seem mildly obsessed. But no worries, it's far worse than you could possibly imagine.

I watched the series Blackpool. I liked it, for all intents and purposes, it was a very unique and fun show. Also, the David Tennant didn't hurt at all. :)
