I'm supposedly a clerk at Safeway, although I still haven't been called back for orientation yet.

Class is good. It's very difficult but I feel like I'm learning. Having individual feedback helps. I spend most of class doing line construction drawings, although I've started fiddling with watercolor. The first half of Fridays is devoted to figure sketches and that's the only class that Semyon doesn't supervise. It's also the only class in which my constant companions aren't books, boxes, bottles, and assorted prism at this point. All of my weekly sketches and drawings I do outside of class are reviewed Friday as well. I'm still getting used to the routine and I really need to start working more outside of class. My time is going to start evaporating as well.

Good luck with cutting down on the smoking. I bet that's tough, especially with your increased workload.
