i havent written in a really long time and i have been planning on keeping it that way...but right now with no homework (or homework that i want to do) and a big game on saturday...i just cant help it.
now a lot of people are saying that the pats are going to lose...but they wont...they cant!! and heres why...
tom brady: 10-0 in the post season...who else has done that? uhh nobody...esp not plummer who is what? 1-3? and who has more passing yards...brady wins that one too with 4110 to 3366, brady is 1st in the NFL, plummer is 14th. brady has 66 carreer interceptions while plummer has 148. brady has been basically perfect in postseason games only throwing three interceptions in 331 passes...thats a .91 interception percentage...which happens to be the lowest in the NFL. he makes the least mistakes while in playoffs and knows how to handle the pressure (i would say) better than anyone. he's been to three probowls...plummer one, and brady has been playing for almost half as many years.
belichick: well, chargers copied patriots defense strategy and beat denver with it...without our front 7 which is better than theirs. people say he was scared by losing the miami game so we wouldnt have to play pittsburgh...but look what the steelers did to cincinatti...took out palmer on teh second play and their best WR...now was belichick scared...or just smart? i woudl say smart...and thats what is going to make us win. he outsmarts every coach and spends more time studying videos then any other coach and overall he just outcoaches everyone. oh yea, and he NEVER loses to the same team twice in teh same season...btw, we alreayd lost to denver, so it doesnt happen again..i'll also add in we lost to the colts too, so AFC championship game?
front 7: denver's running game destroyed us last time...but that was with only 4 of the 7...those 3 make a big difference...we have one of the strongest front lines in the league and thats going to be a major factor in the games. they will force denver to throw...and therefore rely on plummer...not a good idea...maybe 3 forced interceptions and a few sacks
Bruschi: he's back and he's mad...he wants to play and every game he gets better and better..he didnt play last week but he wont be rusty...he'll be out to get everyone.
mcguinesst(however you spell it): most sacks in playoff history...enough said.
vrabel: secret weapon...everyone knows he catches passes in superbowls...yet no one ever covers him...gaurentee a short pass will go to him in the endzone.
Pass: belichick isnt going to play him at first...but faulk and dillon arent playing their best games due to injuries and he'll put pass in...and he'll suprise everyone.
pats are peaking: they have been playing their best football when it really matters. yea they started the season bad...maybe because they never played a game with the same starters...except for brady, vinitari, and someone else (dont remember who) and their front 7 was broken up for a while without light and bruschi and seymour and their secondary was down without harrison (even though hes still out) but samuels back now and evne though he does some stupid things he has great plays (liek his last interception) and they didnt have their leading rushers dillon and faulk for a while or their superbowl mvp deion branch or troy brown who plays every position but out of all that they really discovered ben watson who i woudl say does pretty good...so yep, in short...the pats are where the need to be in the playoffs to beat the best...even the colts...(manning's scared anyways)
scoring: we usually score first...but when we dont we make up for it...down 28-3 against denver last game we came back 17 points to lose 20-28...in the fourth quarter...denver shoulnt expect an easy game like that again.
vinitari: AFC championship games have come down to 2 or 3 seconds left...and then who scores? vinitari...the best cluth kicker in the NFL...2nd leading scorer in pats history...dont underestimate him...he has the longest kick made at steelers...wchih is one of the worst places to kick at...and jsut made a 49 yd against miami.
they want indy: colts say they can beat pats this year...and colts want us almost as much as we want them (but their scared so not as much) pats need to win this game to prove that they dont beat colts cuz its a home game...but now its at indy...and pats want them.
only problem: stadium...mile high is one of the worst places to play...lets hope the pats can stand the lack of oxygen way up there!
oh and lets just add this: playoff scores of pats games
Pats 16,
Raiders 13 (OT)
won by Vinatieri’s 23-yard field goal
Patriots 24,
Steelers 17
Patriots 20
Rams 17
won by Vinatieri’s 48-yard field goal
Patriots 17
Titans 14
won by Vinatieri’s 46-yard field goal
Patriots 24
Colts 14
colts dont beat us in playoffs
Patriots 32
Panthers 29
won by Vinatieri’s 41-yard field goal
Patriots 20
Colts 3
as i said...they dont beat us
Patriots 41
Steelers 27
Patriots 24
Eagles 21
Harrison interception with 17 seconds left assured the win (i miss poor rodney)
Patriots 28
Jaguars 3
we all know about that one,
"It's tough to live up to that when another quarterback possesses it all. And if Plummer or Manning wants to taste even a bit of it, they'll have to stop the man in his mission. Easier said than done, of course.
Because Tom Brady has never been stopped. And until he is, there is no reason to doubt that he will be."
yea okay thats more than enough...i just spent liek 45 freaking minuts haha ohh well.
