Late Night Ramblings
So I just got back a bit ago from the florida flute fair. There is nothing that can make you feel more like a dorky music major than being in a huge room with tons of flutes, music, and flute merchandise. It looked like flute heaven. But, it was a lot of fun and I got some really fun music and listened to some amazing music both by Kristen and William Bennett. By the way, I *heart* William Bennet. He is the sweetest man alive. On rests or breaks between movements, he'd do these cute little dances and just added a lot of personality to the stage. Props to him. Anyway, the day was on a whole quite fun (save the happenings that occurred on a side trip to Starbucks...which were simply shocking). I have a ton of homework and practicing to get done this weekend unfortunately...stupid work..that's not why I'm here, obviously! ;)
Life has been interesting lately. A venture to a high school so remote from the Lebo bubble that it wasn't even funny combined with another interesting volunteering venture on Thursday in which a bus actually passed me by (that was very bad considering it was the last bus before my connecting bus) combined with crazy homework and just simple life. Hopefully, things will calm down and I can start sleeping more, because I loooove sleep. Speaking of sleep, I believe that is long overdue tonight. Especially since I have to be somewhere in about 9 hours...
