ready to rock 2009
Happy New Year again! Well so far it's been an interesting year already! Perhaps kicking it off in Amsterdam set some sort of a tone...
To begin with, my poor little sister was involved in a car accident that pretty much destroyed our vehicle. Fortunately nobody was injured, but the car was not so lucky. So now we've embarked on a post car accident journey of learning how car insurance works. We initially did think that we might be able to salvage the car, but alas, the mechanic said that upon lifting the hood, what he found was a heap of parts... yikes. So surprise! We're going to have to buy a new car! New car for the new year. Whew, what a start.
What else does the year hold? Well in terms of New Year's Resolutions, there's the usual ones of the get fit/lose weight variety but those go without saying. Specifically for 2009, I would like to take more photos. I am that person that always remembers to bring my camera but forgets to use it! So this year I'm going to try and be more conscious of it and take more photos. It's always nice to have photos to look back on.
And of course born in 1979 means that that 2009 is THE year, THE BIG 3-0. Is that crazy? Get ready... it's coming... PARTY! Wooo!
