You know how in the Gmail chat you can enter status? Like "brb", "meeting", "TGIF". It's a nice, easy way to share your mood or status to a large group of people. Sometimes something funny is appreciated or even a link to something interesting. But personal diary? Maybe not necessary.
There is a woman on my work chatlist that, for the past couple of months, has been spelling out the phases of her love life. Not blatantly like "we broke up. i am sad" but she started out with "will always remember the time we had together." That was up for a while. Then it was an entire song lyric about wishing the other person happiness, even if they're not together anymore, sort of thing. Then all of a sudden it was a happy message like "Happy!!" Finally we are at "Wedding coming soon! 22 days!" Ok... woah. On her work chat? Really?
