Will I go to Germany, or will I not? :O

Today I'm packing some stuff for a trip to Germany, that my biology class have planned. What can be mentioned is that this entire course is built around this trip.

But since a vulcano on Iceland decided to go boom boom boom and cover Europe in a cloud of ash, most airports have been shut down since we don't want to fly when it's ash in the air that can clog the engines which will make them stop working. And we don't want that when we're x thousands metres above the ground.

We don't know if we'll be able to go to Germany in some other way, but we'll still travel 650 km tomorrow just to get to Stockholm and then, if we're lucky to Germany. But the thing is, that if we'll be able to fly and the vulcano decides to go more boom boom boom, during our stay, we will probably be stuck in Germany/Vienna. Woho.

It's a bit scary though that my brain won't seem to understad that I'll go abroad for a week if everything goes as planned or backup-planned. I have to pack!

And I started watching Doctor Who last night, which was the worst thing I could have done atm, since it's awesome. I didn't fall asleep until 3.30, and when you have to get up at 6, that's not very good.

Edit: We got to Germany, safe and sound. We ended up getting a bus to drive us the gazillion miles to Schwarzwald, which was so much more fun than I imagined. The trip was shortened a few days due to the bus trip, but it was okay. The bus drivers were so nice and it felt like the biology class got to know each other a bit more than we would have if we just took a flight.
In Germany we walked a lot. Like 7-10 km at least 2 days of the 3,5 we spent there. My feet aren't the same anymore.
A fun thing was that during the  trip three people in the class celebrated their birthdays. We chose to make a stop the last day and have Schwarzwald cake. I kinda liked it, but it wasn't as I had expected it to be.
We also got to go to a wine-tasting and after that our teacher referred to the wine we'd bought (some bought a lot of alcohol since we can't buy it ourselves at home) as soda and told us multiple times not to show them at school when we got back. And not to talk about it. Haha.
I don't know why, but somehow the teachers couldn't live at the same place we did so it was just us. This lead to some of the students going crazy with alcohol and let's just say; we were kinda noisy, glass broke and some guy threw up in the guys' shower room (just to mention a little). All of us were kinda scared that we had messed up for the ones who were going there for this class next year, and that the people at the place we stayed at now hated us. But no. They said that we had behaved so well and we were welcome again. Our teacher asked us what we had bribed them with. What? lol.
