I guess it's time to vacate the premises! London here I come. It's only 42 days until I fly back for Christmas. Ahhh one month's holiday from the country I find so confusing.
On a happier note, Illinois is a good state. Barack Obama is awesome. I hope he keeps up the good work and maybe runs for president someday.
I went to a gig last night with Julie and Chad...The Weaker Thans. Very cool! Though I might have actually liked one of the openers, Piebald, better. It was a happy end to a sick, sad day.
OK, Hodges, let's keep with the optimistic trend here...
I'm really looking forward to my birthday in a little less than a month. I hope you guys can make it. Be sure to let me know!
Other things I can be glad about include- ice-skating season coming up, Christmas decorations at Marshall Fields, getting my hair cut soon, THANKSGIVING (my favourite holiday!), Founder's Day dinner tonight, The Libertines, working at the JCC, sleeping in 'till 10 this morning and finally, having cool friends.
Well I feel like a right Pollyanna now. But honestly if I wasn't trying really hard to be painfully cheerful right now, I'd be pretty dang miserable.
