Gush? Gush. I'm so excited for winter weekend. I bought a dress that isn't quite like me -- low cut in the front (somewhat like me) very low in the back (not so like me). Gorgeous. And my shoes are so hot, they were a bit of a got-into-Picker splurge. (check them out here, sometimes the link works, sometimes it doesn't. I got them in taupe). This weekend is kind of a one year anniversary thing for me and the boy, which is also exciting. He might be coming up for my Nonfiction reading, also a happy thing. I'm actually being somewhat useful in my lab, less guilt about the paycheck. Mostly I'm just so damn excited for winter weekend. I've actually had some free time lately, which is amazing, so I've been blogging it up much more than usual -- I had a fantastic time researching stuff on Good Night, and Good Luck. I'm so sick of the All the President's Men model for journalism, it shouldn't be all about exclusives, which quickly led to the gotcha journalism I absolutely loathe.
