Did you get some fresh strawberries? The farms in east NC are all ripe for the picking!

My family went strawberry picking near High Point yesterday! Well, I didn't go, I slept all day. But I got to reap the benefits >:D

Nice! Sounds like a better deal to me! I've been picking mulberries in our yard, but have been too lazy to pick strawberries - my Mom has also picked some and shared :)

I don't think I've ever had mulberries! But my dad does have a gorgeous fig tree and a scuppernong vine in his yard. I'm really craving fruit lately. xD

You know, I generally don't care for or want fruit, but lately I do! Perhaps my body craves it seasonally..

I really feel the same way. Actually, I'm wanting to eat all sorts of things I don't usually: fruit, vanilla ice cream, grilled veg... I think it must be seasonal, or else I've been watching too much Food Network.

I do love it; I hate cooking when I'm the only person eating it, though, so I don't cook that often. :( I'm really into watching Gordon Ramsay's shows right now though, especially Hell's Kitchen.
