ROUND 002: RULES & SETUP
Welcome to this round of peachmafia!
My name is Jas [neonsoap] and this is my first time modding so let's hope I get this right!
→ The game starts on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH
→ Roles will be assigned on THURSDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 3RD! So Caitlin and Mark, we're gonna need your character choices to be in by then.
ONE: If you are unfamiliar with the rules of basic Mafia, please click here for a tutorial and click basic rules. This will be enough to familiarize yourself with the game.
TWO: Once you are familiar, you will need to know to following specifics about the game roles:
• There is an undisclosed amount of TOWNIES. Through the power of the vote, they will pick the most likely person to be a Mafia member each day phase to "lynch." After each lynching, the role of the deceased is revealed. Townies win when all Mafia members die.
• There is at least one DOCTOR. Doctors are Pro-Town and have the power to protect one person per night. If the mafia targets the person that the Doctors are protecting, no one dies that night. If the Doctors protect someone the mafia does not target or a member of the mafia, nothing happens. Doctors cannot save themselves, and cannot save the same person twice in a row. Doctors win when all Mafia members die.
• There is at least one COP. Cops are Pro-Town have the power to track one person per night and find out if a person is Innocent or Scum. Cops win when all Mafia members die.
• There is an undisclosed amount of MAFIA members. Through the power of the vote, they will pick one person each night phase to kill. The Mafia wins when all Townies die.
THREE: One day in game is equal to 96 hours IRL. The Day phase is 48 hours, the Night phase is another 48. Posts to the main community will be made to notify players of date changes.
FOUR: Discussion for the lynching can only happen during the Day phase. Voting is public, majority rules, and votes can be changed up until the beginning of the Night phase. If your character chooses not to vote, then it is assumed that their vote will go the person who already seems to have majority--or if there is a split amongst 2 or more people, then the vote will be cast at random for any of the lynch nominees.
There will be a post made every Day phase that will facilitate all public discussion and polling. Any separate RP threads or private discussions can be made in separate posts.
FIVE: Mafia members can only discuss and make kill choices during the Night phase. Voting is public amongst Mafia members, and majority rules.
There will be a post made every Night phase that will facilitate all Mafia discussion and polling. Any separate RP threads or private discussions can only be made in response to those posts, seeing how all Mafia RP require friends filter protection.
SIX: Doctors and Cops can only track and protect during the Night phase, and will also require the friends filter protection.
SEVEN: All canon powers are stripped and kills are not necessarily made in person.
