Biopsy Results
Hi guys! I am still on vacation but thought I would update you all as to the results of my biopsy. We heard from the doctor and the results came back. The biopsy showed that the lymphoma is a non-hodgkins anaplastic T-cell lymphoma. It is an agressive type and needs to be dealt with, we may need to end our vacation sooner than planned. From what I understand, if this kind is treated soon enough the chances of it being curable are higher than if it is treated after it has spread to the bone marrow for instance.
I am on ambrotose right now, (more info on that later), and am feeling better than I was. When we get back we may be sent to MD Anderson in Houston. We'll see. In the meantime, I covet your prayers. We are hoping to be able to use methods of treatment that would not be as bad for the body as chemo. Been doing a lot of research, and even the doctors have resources and might be able to treat this with things that are not as bad.
